857's underground triumph, Radio Play was an astonishing leap forward in both production and talent as if the jokes over had only been a early test run . Radio Play was the quintessential underground rap album truly showing that 857 a cut above evryone else with an overall feeling that they could and did do anything . Not only was it a glimpse into the story of the suburban every man, Radio play also sported a southern rap parody "thuggin and buggin " not only showing how silly the contemporary rap game had become but to top it off they did it better. As if that wasn't enough they spit out a Grunge-Metal/Rap collaboration with Dj Al G's Side (Garage band) project Whip Johnny called "The suffering". It was distributed late 2003 intime for christmas and was only recently discontined

Behind the Music:

shorlty after the CD broke , Al G and HARDCOREJohnny's Garage band Whip Johnny fell appart and Dj AL G formally joined 857 as the forth member and live dj. although Radio Play is discontinued its legacy looms large , some if not all of the songs will probly be remixed and rercorded at some future date but as of yet there are no plans
